Tehran Traffic

I have not been to a foreign country yet; but through reading and movies I can say that Tehran traffic is among the worst in the world. To make things more painful, thousands of smoking motor – cycle open their bellies into the air. Not only that, they run every where and observe no rules. There is no official data, but one can say that motor – cyclists are the cause of many traffic accidents in our city. The traffic problem in this jungle of 10 million has reached a level that slows our daily activities. Unless the responsible authorities do something to solve the problem, Tehranis will have to spend half of their productive time waiting for public transportation.
